I am in Arizona traveling this week so I will keep this post short with a promise to be back in full force next week. Thanks for all of the feedback and discussion on last week’s post, you guys are great.
The new Steve Jobs movie opened up and the reviews that I have read are good. It is amazing to me the impact that this guy had on technology. On how human beings interact with one another. On communication. On music. On computing. On entertainment in general. The guy made a significant impact in the world. This is one of my favorite quotes that used to hang on my wall in my office at Leggett and Platt. It is also something that inspired me to take the big step in starting Spink and Edgar. I am sure you have read it but it is always good for a review.
“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes…the ones who see things differently–they’re not fond of rules…You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things…they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones that do.” Steve Jobs
I hope that there is a little of this in you or if not, you support that nut that believes they can change the world. I am one of them. Are you? Have a great week!
